Mushroom Rocks State Park is  with 5 Minutes of the Ranch House just 1 mile east On 24th Road.
See Huge Native Stand Stone Out Croppings that have been enjoyed since the Pioneers crossed the praire on the Smoky Hill Trail.








Fort Harker Guard House Museum located in the Town of Kanopolis offers a glimpse in the past when buffalo roamed the range and gun powder ruled the restless. Take a walking tour of the remaining  fort buildings left behind when the fort closed in the late 1800's







The Wild West was alive and well in the hey day of the cattle drives. In the late 8100's many cattle drives ended in Ellsworth earning it the nickname the "Wickest Cowtown in the West"  In the summer the Cowtown celebrates it heritage with Rodeos and Cowtown
Days that include the famous reinactment of the shooting of the Sheriff .  Along with The historic generals named in the above historical marker Ellsworh has had may historical personalities pass through it streets including the likes of  Buffalo Bill Cody, the Earps.Calamity Jane, Doc Holiday, Jesse James to name a few. Many left their mark in the  local hill country.
